What people say about (Shekhos shawarma)

Nish

This is my second time to Shekhos, and I have to say, it’s hands down one of the best places in town for authentic Middle Eastern food. From the moment you step inside, you can tell this is a family-run place where the staff really cares about both their food and their customers. The atmosphere is cozy and welcoming, and everyone there treats you like you’re a part of the family. They’re warm, friendly, and genuinely interested in making sure you have a great experience. They even take the time to explain the dishes if you’re unsure and are more than happy to adjust the flavors to suit your taste, which I really appreciated. Now, let’s talk about the food—because it’s honestly what keeps you coming back. I’ve tried shawarma from different places before, but the shawarma at Shekhos is on another level. You can tell from the first bite that they use fresh, high-quality ingredients. The meat is tender and perfectly spiced, cooked to perfection every time. Whether you go for chicken or lamb, the flavors are rich, smoky, and authentic. The vegetables they use are always crisp and fresh, and the wraps are warm, soft, and the perfect balance to the flavorful fillings. Today I went with their shawarma on rice and it’s nothing short of deliciousness. One of the standout things for me was their garlic sauce. It’s smooth, creamy, and has just the right kick of garlic without being overpowering. It pairs perfectly with the shawarma and really elevates the whole meal. They offer a variety of sides as well, and The portions are generous, so you’re definitely getting your money’s worth, which is always a plus. What I really love about Shekhos is that you can tell everything is made with care. There’s a lot of attention to detail, and it’s clear they take pride in serving real, authentic Middle Eastern food. Whether you’re grabbing a quick shawarma wrap for lunch or sitting down for a full platter, you’ll leave satisfied and already thinking about your next visit. Overall, Shekhos delivers in every way—great customer service, authentic flavors, and a welcoming atmosphere that makes you feel like you’ve stumbled upon a hidden gem. If you’re a fan of Middle Eastern cuisine, or even if you’re just curious to try something new, I can’t recommend this place enough. I’m definitely going to be a regular here!

I would highly recommend this place! Far better than other shawarma places in town. Family owned and local. The prices and portions here are very reasonable. The quality of their meet is perfection. Hands down the best go to! Fresh, local, and halal!

Got a Medium chicken shawarma on rice. Pretty good. Did not taste frozen and was definitely more authentic than Osmow’s. Chicken was great. Rice was fresh too. Wished there was an option for condiments and Add-ons.
