Shaan Tandoori

My go to spot for Indian food in the south shore. We always do takeout and the food is always delicious. The portions are also massive. Service can be slow so I would recommend calling for pickup when they open and the food will be ready in around an hour. Staff is really friendly as well! We love getting the biryani, lamb dansak, chicken tikka masala and the lamb korma.

Ordered takeout online. The food was ready on time (great as pickup time was 6pm on a Saturday). Lots of customers dining in. Two customers ahead of me in line, waiting for their order. I had to call for a worker's attention before taking my food which was out on a table as no one acknowledged my arrival). 10% discount for takeout orders. We ordered a butter chicken (rich and creamy, but too sweet for me - I prefer the more savoury style) and tandoori chicken, which was served with rice, vegetable curry, chutney, pickled carrots, mint sauce, and a bit of salad. My family enjoyed it. The portions are generous and the prices are reasonable.

Food is great, service is amazing. The price is not too high for the portions you get. The only reason it's getting a 4 stars in atmosphere is that the blinds should've been lowered a little sooner, my girlfriend and I went there on a wednesday at 6pm during march. The sun was low early, would be fine during summer / winter.
