i am so astounded by how insanely affordable the prices were for a) the quality (as in taste) of the food, and b) how filling the portions were—especially the cheesesteak, which was quite hefty and loaded. i had the grilled chicken saj, and my favourite part was definitely the garlic sauce on the side. the flavour wasn’t overpowering but worked well with the potatoes and pita. the grilled pita was also a highlight for me, but i do wish that the chicken was a bit more flavourful. they did not skimp out on the fillings however, which i appreciate. the cheesesteak was also great, i loved how warmmm and comforting it was and how soft the bun was.

Had a major craving for a falafel wrap and I'm so glad I ended up at the Mr. Shawarma truck in front of the Vancouver Art Gallery on Robson St. I ordered the Falafel grilled pita wrapped, and when they asked if I wanted it spicy, I said yes and wow, it was perfect! The size and the fresh ingredients was definitely worth the $8 and was bet and filling. I will definitely come back here again to try more items from their menu. I would highly recommend this food truck - what you get for the price is such an amazing deal!
